Mary Ruth Findley age 93 of Paris, Illinois passed away at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Paris Healthcare Center. She was a member of Paris Christian Church and she was a homemaker.

In keeping with Federal Mandates due to COVID-19, the service is for immediate family only. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Mary was born June 26, 1927 in Marshall, Illinois the daughter of the late Lex and Vera Stark Thompson.

Mary married Donald L. Findley on June 10, 1978 in Paris, Illinois.

She is survived by her husband; her children: Nancy Ruth Elliott of Beecher, Illinois, Karlene Ann (Ted) Avgerinos of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dianne Mary Cotts of New Lenox, Illinois, Annette Erlene Salvaggio of Paris; her step children: David Alan (Jeanette) Findley of Florissant, Missouri, Janice Sue Ziemer of Chicago, Illinois; her brothers: Harry Thompson of Otsego, Michigan, Max David Thompson of Princeton, Kentucky; her sister Marcia (John) Slusher of Madisonville, Kentucky;12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Mary is preceded in death by her three brothers: Gerald Thompson, Zane Thompson and Ramon Thompson.

Memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer Association.
