Mary Ann Brown, 79 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 8:50 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2019 at Paris Community Hospital/Horizon Health.

Following cremation, graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Edgar Cemetery. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brown was born March 25, 1940 at Sullivan, Indiana, the daughter of Raymond and Helen Haun. She married William J. Brown October 19, 1963 in La Canada, California; he passed away March 25, 2016.  She was a 1958 graduate of Paris High School and a 1962 graduate of the University of Illinois.  She was a teacher in California, and secretary of Paris District 95 and Illinois Cereal Mills in Paris.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her father, her brother Ronald Haun, and her husband William J. Brown. She is survived by her sisters-in-law; Joan Mattingly, Maxine Cochran, and Lourdes Haun and numerous nieces and nephews.
