Mary Catherine Alexander's Obituary

Mary Catherine Alexander age 89 of Paris, IL passed away at 10:50 p.m. Friday August 9, 2019 at the Paris Healthcare Center.

Graveside services are 10 a.m. Wednesday August 14, 2019 in Edgar Cemetery burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday August 13, 2019 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Paris Community Hospital Horizon Health Volunteers.

Mary was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Altar Society, Edgar County Home Extension and Community Education, and a Volunteer at Paris Community Hospital.

She was a pediatric nurse in Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mary was born October 19, 1929 in Edgar County Illinois the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mary Emma Forbeck Halloran.

She married Robert Alexander June 12, 1954 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paris and he passed away January 8, 2017.

Mary is survived by her children: Gregory (Tina) Alexander of Paris, Douglas (Brenda) Alexander of Darmstadt, Indiana; her grandchildren Casie (Brad) Dennison of Franklin, Tennesse, Jamie Yates of Evansville, Indiana, Kyle Alexander of Paris, and Aaron (Kayla) Alexander of Paris; her great grandchildren: Crew, Harlow, Navy and Lakelynn; her siblings: Helen A. McMullen, Jim Halloran, John Halloran and Tom Halloran all of Paris. She was preceded in death by her brother Bernard Halloran.
