Martha N. Sudduth, age 93, of Paris, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Horizon Health in Paris, Illinois.

A visitation is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The burial will follow at Memorial Gardens in Paris.

Martha was born in Borton, Illinois on October 7, 1929, the daughter of the late Everett Samuel and Louvary E. Attkisson Petty.

She was married to George Grant Sudduth for over 45 years. He passed away on December 10, 1997.

Martha was a cleaner for the First Federal Savings and Loan here in town for a long time. She was also an active member of the Red Hat Society. Martha was also an avid Bunco player.

She is survived by her siblings: Viola Young of Hindsboro, Illinois, Lola Logan of Michigan; her grandchildren: Scott Henson of Paris, Michele (Tom) Keefer of Marshall; and her great-grandson Cotey (Katie) Thompson of Reaford, North Carolina.

Martha is preceded in death by her daughter: Diana Henson; her three brothers and her two sisters.
