Marjorie Ferguson's Obituary

Marge Ferguson of Paris, Illinois went to be with the Lord at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman, Illinois on December 10, 2020 at 10:10p.m...............and we can tell you she was a "Beautiful" 98years "young".

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday December 23, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. In keeping with State of Illinois mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone attending the service are ask to wear a mask and abide by the regulations. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Private burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

She always had a nice word of encouragement for everyone she saw.....whether it was at the Dollar Store or the Drive-thru at McDonalds.

Marge Ferguson was married to Adlai Cleveland Ferguson, the love of her life since she was 16....They owned Paris Broadcasting Corporation which was the parent company to WPRS and WACF Radio....in Paris...along with WBGR Radio in Paris Kentucky...

Mom always wondered if the ACF in WACF stood for "All Country Format" or Adlai Cleveland Ferguson lol

Marge loved "Ferg" as he was called ......especially his humor and joking around....but during the weekday he was all business.

Marge supported her husband's Ferg's efforts in serving the Community through Local News, helping Businesses succeed with Radio.....

Weather Alerts, and even Obituaries on the air which were very important to the listening audience.

Marge had three daughters, Sandy (Dr. Phil) Wheeler of Springfield, Illinois, Karen (Chris) Munson of San Diego, Ca, and Jan Lange of Elkhart, IN that were always amazed at how God smiles on her with "good health genes."

She had 5 Grandchildren, Faith (Steve) Harralson of Owensboro, KY, Christian Lange of Carol Stream, IL, and Blake (Kasia) Lange of Chesteron, IN, along with Nicole (Rob) Prinz of Dana Point, CA, and Dr. Melinda (Tim) Pruitt of Santa Monica, CA. She had 7 great grandchildren, Twin boys, George and Jordan, Madison, Olivia Joy, Ruby, and Anthony.

She is preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.

Marge was a good friend, neighbor, and confidant even though she couldn't keep a Secret...

You always knew that if you needed to talk to someone or just wanted to talk while driving somewhere....she was always available...for anyone.

And if you got out of her house after a visit without leaving with a new jacket that didn't fit her quite right.....or bakery items someone sent her that she couldn't eat all by herself, we would all be surprised.

She always said...If something doesn't taste good...it's probably GOOD for you!

Marge was loved by everyone and was always approachable in Kroger, Wal-Mart, the Dollar Store, and Goodwill or where ever she was....

She was always "friendly".........She will be missed by many......

She believed in God, led a life serving others.........and believed that she would be in Heaven someday....

She always tried to let you know you were important to her.....because YOU WERE!!!
