Marilyn J. Lefever's Obituary
Marilyn J. Lefever, age 89 of Paris, passed away at 7:53 a.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Mattoon Rehabilitation and Health Care, Mattoon, Illinois. She was a Homemaker. She also was a packaging inspector for Taylor Pharmaceutical in Decatur, Illinois, worked in the cosmetic department at Post Jewelers in Decatur and Carson Pirie Scott Department Store in Decatur, and was a nursing secretary at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Born September 12, 1926 in Burlington, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Harold L. and L. Maude (Smythe) Willson. She married Charles F. Lefever June 1, 1946 in Morning Sun, Iowa; he passed away January 24, 2002. Survivors include three children; Mark Lefever of Paris, Carolyn Lefever of Phoenix, Arizona, and Michael Lefever and his wife Joyce of Mattoon, one sister Mary Lou Johnston of Donna, Texas, four grandchildren; Alisa Webb and her husband Stephen of Colora, Maryland, Ryan Lefever of Sunnyvale, California, Darin Lefever and his fiancée Monica Hoskins of Warrenville, Illinois, and Shannan Lefever of Porter, Indiana, and three great grandchildren; Courtney, Christopher, and Grace Webb, all of Colora, Maryland. Visitation for Marilyn will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Following visitation, cremation is planned. Memorial services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 in Grace Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Child Development Center Endowment Fund.
