Marian Walker, age 90 of Paris, Illinois passed away at 4:12 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Horizon Health in Paris.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Memorial Gardens in Paris, Illinois. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marian was born on March 10, 1934, in Paris, Illinois to Lawrence and Nellie (Wilson) Tweedy. She married Marcus Walker on December 24, 1952, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2000.

She worked at Meco in Paris for many years and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She had a passion for sewing especially crafting dolls. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Gosnell (Rick) of Paris, Illinois; her grandchildren, Andrea Mitchell of Paris, Illinois and Brian Gosnell (Lynsey) of Paris, Illinois: her great grandchildren: Macy Mitchell (Coltin Buchanan), Marcus Mitchell, Marley Mitchell, Owen Gosnell; and her great great grandson: Walker Wayne Buchanan.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her son, Stephen Walker; and 6 siblings.

Memorial contributions may be made to the great grandchildren's Education Fund.
