Margaretta Frisz's Obituary

Margaretta Frisz, age 94, of Paris, passed away at 2:34 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 in her home.

A visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home, with burial in Edgar Cemetery in Paris.

Margaretta was born December 26, 1926 in Blairsville, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Lester and Elvira Fowler Hill.

She married Rono Frisz on December 21, 1946 in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. He precedes her in death on November 10, 1991.

Margaretta was the dietary supervisor for Paris Community Hospital, and Pleasant Meadows Senior Living for many years. She was a long time and active member of Lake Ridge Christian Church in Paris.

She is survived by her children: Janis Nebergall of Paris, Illinois, James (Mary Theresa) Frisz of Paris, Illinois, Susan (Randy) Barton of Franklin, Kentucky; her grandchildren: Jamie (Greg) Punzelt of Fishers, Indiana, Jill (Nick) Cucinella of Robinson, Illinois, Jackie (Cody) Owen of Chrisman, Illinois, Gary (Lisa) Nebergall of Arcadia, Indiana, Scott (Stephanie) Nebergall of Armada, Michigan, Terry (Marci) Barton of Port Lavaca, Texas, Theresa Carter of Franklin, Kentucky, her 12 great-grandchildren; and her 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Margaretta is preceded in death by her husband: Rono Frisz; her son: Timothy Frisz; her son-in-law: David Nebergall; her siblings: Gene Hill, Vernon Hill, and Charlotte Malloy.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
