Margaret L. Thompson, age 70 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 12:56 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Paris Community Hospital/Horizon Health. She had worked at Zenith Corporation, was a grinder at MECO for 26 ½ years, and also had worked at Wal-Mart.

Born March 23, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Norma Lois (DePriest) Henderson. She married Jerry Thompson in 1986 in Paris, Illinois; he passed away in February 2002.  Survivors include a son Travis (Christina) Sohaski of Paris, two grandchildren, Maranda and Isabella Sohaski, both of Paris, sister-in-law Wanda Overaker and family Brock and Bruce, brother-in-law Robert (Kitty) Thompson and family Heath, Robert, and Amanda, sister-in-law Lisa Norman and family Shelby, Briana, and Alison, sister-in-law Susan (Kelly) Martin and family Gail and Amber, sister-in-law Brenda Thompson, and nieces Tamara (John) Funk, Tracey (David) McCarty and family Charity, Chelsey, and Damian, Candice (Christopher) Milam and family Kenny and Samantha, Lindsey (Clayton) Griffin and family Zoe, Blaise, Keegan, and Khloe, and Kassey Garver.  She was preceded in death by a sister Katrina Garver.

Funeral services for Margaret will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Warner officiating.
