Margaret Ann Kennedy, age 92 of Paris, Illinois passed away at 4:15 p.m. March 5, 2021 at Life's Journey.

In keeping with State of Illinois mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone attending the service must wear a mask while inside the funeral home. Everyone is welcome but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects may do so.

Visitation will be Tuesday March 9, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:45a.m. followed by a Graveside Service and Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Edgar Cemetery. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Margaret was born on June 9, 1928 in Edgar Co., Illinois to the late Frank and Hadie (Newhart) Griffin.

She worked at numerous area factories as a laborer and was a member of the Horace Baptist Church.

Margaret is survived by her children; Sheila Ann (Douglas) Elyea of Belmont, MI, Robert Dean (Sandy) Kennedy of Cleveland, TN, Warren Paul (Kathy) Kennedy of Paris, IL, Rick Allen (Leslie) Kennedy of Paris, IL, Margo (Brad) Yeargin of Paris, IL, a brother; Clyde Griffin of Paris, IL, 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Hadie (Newhart) Griffin, 6 brothers, 4 sisters and 1 infant sister that failed to survive birth.
