Mamie Louise Boyer, age 79 of Chrisman, Illinois passed away at 8:46 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

In keeping with State of Illinois mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone attending the service must wear a mask while inside the funeral home. Visitation will be Saturday April 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Everyone is welcome but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects may do so.  A Funeral Service will be Saturday April 10, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with pastor Troy Warner officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery.

Mamie was born February 2, 1942 in Paris, Illinois to the late John Craig and Opal Montgomery Craig.

She married Richard Boyer on June 11, 1960 in Redmon, Illinois where he precedes her in death.

Mamie was a bank teller for the Edgar County Bank and Trust. She was also a member of the Chrisman Christian Church.

She is survived by her children: Vickie Sue (Mitchell Rhoads) Bolton of Paris, Illinois, Peggy Jo (Gary) Nail of Chrisman, Illinois; her siblings Carrie Neal of Chrisman, Illinois, Linda Brinkerhoff of Brownsburg, Indiana; her grandchildren Richie Bolton, Chase Bolton, Amy (Thad) Crispin, Ashley (Brandon) Prouse; her great grandchildren, Aubrey Crispin, Blakelee Vansickle, Owen Goble, Braxton Prouse, Ian Crispin, McKenna Thomason; and her brother-in-law Larry Boyer of Clarksville, Tennessee.

Mamie is preceded in death by her husband Richard Boyer, her brother Bob Craig, and her sisters Dorothy Brown and Mary Balach.

Memorials may be made to Chrisman Christian Church.
