Lucy J. Straw's Obituary
Lucy J. Straw, age 78 of Paris, passed away at 9:24 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Burnsides Community Health Center in Marshall. She had worked at Sycamore Egg Ranch, U.O. Colson & Company, and Zenith Corporation. She was a life member of VFW Post 3601 Auxiliary. Born February 20, 1938 in Paris, she was the daughter of the late Francis O. and Mabel Helen (Lutz) Twigg. Survivors include five children; Cappie M. Fiscus of Paris, Joseph Wayne North and his wife Lela of Pryor, Oklahoma, Sharyl Baker and her husband Terry of Paris, Lynn Stanfield and her husband Jim of Etters, Pennsylvania, and Charles F. Straw of Paris, a brother Gene Twigg of Danville, Illinois, sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Mitzie North Garrett and eleven siblings. Visitation for Lucy will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 in St. Mary's Cemetery.
