Lois Kathryn Mathis 73 of Braselton, GA formerly Paris, IL went home to be with her Lord at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday August 12, 2015 at Harbor Grace Hospice Atlanta, GA.

Services are 10 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2015 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Hoffman officiating.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Burial is in Hoult Cemetery, Chrisman, IL.

Memorial donations may be made to Kathryn's family to help with her medical expenses.

She graduated from Young America High School in 1960. Kathryn was a legal secretary for Fruin and Garst Law Office. She was a member of the Chestnut Mountain Church, Chestnut Mountain, GA and a former member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Paris, IL.

Kathryn was born June 7, 1942 in Metcalf, IL the daughter of the late Clarence Wilson and Alice Mae Roller Gilkerson.

She married Harold Mathis December 6, 1972 in Paris and he passed away November 9, 2007.

Kathryn is survived by her children: Gary L. (Katie) Ingram of Brocton and Mark A. (Kathleen) Ingram of Braselton, GA; her grandchildren: Cassie (Matt) Joines of Champaign, Becca (Jason) Todd of Lynchburg, VA, Joshua Ingram and Elizabeth Ingram of Braselton, GA; her great-grandchildren: Peighton Joines and Colton Joines both of Champaign; her brother: Claude (Pat) Gilkerson of E. Peoria, IL

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
