Lois Ann "Lo" White, age 64 of Paris, Illinois passed away at 9:28 A.M. on Monday, February 19, 2024, at her home.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home with Rev. Chris White officiating. Burial will take place in Edgar Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by Paris American Legion Post #211 at the cemetery.
Lo was born on December 7, 1959, in Charleston, Illinois to Verble J. and Lois C. (Gosnell) White.
She proudly served her country as a member of the Paris National Guard 1544th Transportation Unit. After her military service, she spent several years at the H.R.C in various roles. Lo was a longtime and active member at the Paris Church of God. Her hobbies included caring for her flowers and plants, as well as crocheting, sewing, and studying her Bible with her Bible study group.
She is survived by her siblings: Mike (Carrie) White, David Gosnell, Bonnie (Ron) Jones, all of Paris; her nieces and nephews: Angel (Scott), Gina, Autumn (Nick), Ronald II, Jason, Jeremy (Thashia), Nicole (Jerry), Leslie (Matt); Lois' girls: Connie, Ashley, Breanne, and Charla; her sister-in-law, Kathy Gosnell; her good friends: Linda Turner and Ella Stewart; several great nieces and nephews and several great- great nieces and nephews.
Lo is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Jeffrey M. Gosnell, Martin G. White, Crystal White; and her sister-in-law, Linda Gosnell.
Memorials may be made to Paris Church of God or St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
