Lela Lou Rose, age 85, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 5:35 P.M. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Paris Health Care.

No services are scheduled at this time. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

She was born November 1, 1936 in Paris, Illinois. She is the daughter of the late Frank and Bessie Minnick Henley. She married Edward Leon Rose on June 22, 1965 in Paris. He preceded her in death.

Lela was a homecare giver and homemaker. She loved the outdoors, fishing, animals and mushroom hunting.

She is survived by her daughter Anne (Ray) Ramirez of Muscatine, Iowa; her brother Vernon Earl (Mary) Henley of Alton, Illinois; ten grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.

Lela is preceded in death by her children: Jerald Wilson, Cheryl Reed, Edward "Frank" Rose; two sisters, and one brother.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
