Lane N. Bercaw's Obituary
Lane N. Bercaw, age 67 of Paris, passed away at 8:59 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute. He was a warehouse clerk for Sony DADC, a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and a United States Navy Veteran. Lane loved the Lord! He was an avid Cubs fan, and enjoyed attending Cubs games. He also loved being outdoors and spending time with his family. Lane had a gift for remembering everyone's birthdays. Born March 2, 1948 in Paris, he was the son of the late Allan F. and Violet D. (Nelson) Bercaw. He married Shirley J. (Wilson) Bercaw April 24, 1977 in Paris and she survives. Other survivors include three children; Jamin (Lawren) Bercaw of Bedford, Massachusetts, Shonna (Shawn) Davis of Mattoon, and Seth (Lindsey Seibert) Bercaw of Paris, and four grandchildren; Kamille Bosler, Fender Davis, and Killian Davis, all of Mattoon, and Brec Bercaw of Bedford, Massachusetts. Visitation for Mr. Bercaw will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the United Way.
