Kent Allen Ashley's Obituary
Kent Allen Ashley, age 35 of Paris, passed away at 6:00 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 at Paris Community Hospital, Emergency Room. Kent attended DDC in Mattoon, DEC in Paris, and HRC in Paris. Born January 9, 1980 in Paris, he was the son of Christopher Lynn Ashley and Debra Anne (Hefner) Ashley. Survivors include his mother Debra of Paris, Grandmother Alma Peters of Paris, Aunts and Uncles; Dina Hefner, Kellen Yeater, Keith Hefner, Kathy Hefner, and Rick Wombles, all of Paris, Mike and Nancy Ferguson of Paris, and Rick and Cindy Ashley of Phoenix, Arizona. He was preceded in death by grandparents Larry Hefner and Claude Ashley, great grandparents Barlow and Mary Louise Hunt and Fern Hefner, and his step-father Tim Brinkerhoff. Visitation for Kent will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Edgar Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defer cemetery monument costs.
