Kenneth Clarence Denson, age 83, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Twin Lakes Rehab Center.
In keeping with State of Illinois mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone attending the service must wear a mask while inside the funeral home. Everyone is welcome but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects may do so.
A visitation will be from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois, with a funeral service following. Burial will be in Augustus Cemetery in Grandview Township.
Kenneth was born on June 19, 1937, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Floyd Denson and LaDonna Clarke Denson.
He married Nila Huston in Cedar Lake, Indiana on June 17, 1973. She preceded him in death on February 22, 2021.
Kenneth was a truck driver for Morris Trucking in Terre Haute, Indiana as well as a member of VFW #3601 and the American Legion Post #211. Kenneth served his country in the Army and is a member of the Nazarene church.
Kenneth is survived by his children: Leeann (Juan) Guerra of Valporaiso, Indiana, Kenneth Denson II (Cindy) of Paris, Illinois, Tonya Hardway of Paris, Illinois, Kevin (Cindy) Farris of Vermilion, Illinois, Dustin Denson of Peoria, Illinois; his grandchildren: Allen, Tommy, Jeffrey, Christy, Misty, Tiffany, Karen, Rusty, Shane, Brandi, K.C., Kyle, Tulsa, Kevin; as well as many great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Floyd Denson and LaDonna (Clark) Denson; his wife: Nila (Huston) Denson; his siblings Floyd Denson Jr., Ella May Christenson, Shirley Ray, Juanita Buckner, Joanne Sneed, Peggy Wilson, Elaine Marsh; and his daughter Tammy Farris.
Memorials may be made to the Nazarene Church in Paris, Illinois.
