Kenneth Eugene Atkins, age 102 of Paris passed away at 4:00 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Paris Healthcare Center in Paris. Mr. Atkins was born March 17, 1916 in Paris to the late Melvin V. and Ona F. (Elkins) Atkins. He married Ruth Georgene (Campbell) Atkins June 11, 1938 in Edgar County; she passed away August 2, 2006.

Survivors include a daughter Sally Jo Adams and her husband Skip of Paris, two grandchildren, Amy Da Silva of Paris and Jeff Da Silva and his wife Tasha of Cottonwood, California, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Jane Winkler and Ethel Fiorello and two infant brothers, Allen and Fred Atkins.

Public visitation for Mr. Atkins will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Graveside services will be private in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
