Kathie J. West age 67 of Paris, IL passed away at 9:51a.m., Saturday October 5, 2019 at her home. She was a nurse at Paris Health Care Center for 17 years, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham, IL and at Sarah Busch Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL. She was a member of The Paris First Church of Nazarene.

Cremation is planned and all services are private.

Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kathy was born May 31, 1952 in Franklin, Indiana the daughter of the late Wilbur Eugene and Lois Fern Phillips Brant.

She is survived by her children: Christopher (Ayaka) Arnold of Indianapolis, IN, Beth Ann (Mike Kollman) Boothby of Wheeler, IL, Teaki (Jim) Wells of Paris, IL; her grandchildren: Joplin Joan Boothby of Paris, IL, Zachary Kollman, Annielee Kollman and Katie Kollman all of Wheeler, IL, Halylee Ann Bryan, Kacey Lynn Wells and Kalie Sue Wells all of Paris, IL and Peyton Lynn Arnold of Mt. Vernon, IL; her great-grandchildren: Malaya Ann Bullard of Charleston, IL and Isaiah Albert Foote of Paris, IL; her brother Bill Brant of Effingham, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jim Brant.
