She enjoyed introducing children and young adults to the enjoyment of reading. She particularly enjoyed selecting books that were enjoyed by elderly readers or reluctant young readers who had not yet discovered the joy of reading a good book. Because she knew her clients and a wide selection of books, she turned a number of people on to reading for pleasure.
