Judy A. Pufahl, age 79, of Paris, Illinois, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, at Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the funeral home, with visitation beginning one hour prior at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Edgar Cemetery.

Judy was born on April 18, 1947, in Paris, Illinois, to Robert and LaDonna Joan (Miller) Campbell. She married Delmar Pufahl, and together they shared nearly 50 years of marriage. He survives.

Judy had a deep love for animals and found great joy in caring for them. She was most at peace when surrounded by nature whether sitting outside enjoying the beauty around her or watching dolphins during her travels. Judy and Delmar treasured their years spent traveling to warm destinations, embracing life’s simple pleasures. These joys and her gentle spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Delmar Pufahl; her children, Dale Pufahl (Debra), Ed McCombs (Amic), Sherry Stark (Don), Michael Pufahl (Jessi), Michelle Flora (Scott), Theresa Luccioni, and Kevin McCombs (Tip); dozens of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Mike Campbell (Glenda), LaDonna McBride (Gerald), Tina Hefiner, Doug Campbell (Debbie), Susanna Campbell, and Ken Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Debra (Campbell) Treudt.
