Joni Ruth McConchie, age 67, of Paris passed away at 7:52 A.M. on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at her home.

No services are scheduled. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Joni was born on August 8, 1955 in Paris, Illinois to Archie Leon and Patsy Joan (McDaniel) Switzer. She married Michael McConchie, he preceded her in death.

Previously, Joni had been a beautician, worked at TRW, was an assistant at TLC-Kansas and as of late was working as Home Health Aid.

Joni enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching soap operas, traveling to the Smokey Mountains, and loved her cocker spaniel, Wrigley.

She is survived by her son: Alex Ethan McConchie of Paris, Illinois; her sister: Amy Arnett of Paris, Illinois; and her niece: Kylie Arnett of Paris, Illinois

Joni is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Memorials may be made to Edgar County Animal Shelter.
