Johnny A. Tomlinson, 48 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 5:48 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2019 at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a truck driver for Tomlinson Trucking Company and was a member of Oliver United Methodist Church.

Born January 29, 1971 in Paris, he was the son of Larry Allen Tomlinson and Patricia (Mitchell) Tomlinson. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Tomlinson of Paris, his daughter Samantha Jarrett Gonzalez of Atlanta, Georgia, two brothers, Jimmy Joe (Christina) Tomlinson and Jeremy S. Tomlinson, both of Paris, grandmother Mary Tomlinson of Paris, three aunts; Marsha (Bill) Duke of Paris, Theresa Wheat of Anaheim, California, and Connie (Ronnie) Nemeth of Evans, Washington, two uncles, Larry Shields of Paris and Travis Mitchell of Terre Haute, Indiana, and a great aunt Carrie Lance of Paris.  He was preceded in death by his father Larry Allen Tomlinson, grandfather Oliver Hilton, grandfather John A. Tomlinson, and grandmother Emily Hilton.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.
