Jimmie Charles Watson, age 73, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 2:40 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

In keeping with State of Illinois mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone attending the service must wear a mask while inside the funeral home. Everyone is welcome but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects may do so.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.

Jimmie was born on May 16, 1947, the son of the late Dolph Watson and Charlotte Mae Lucas Watson. Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, Dolph Watson, Charlotte Mae Lucas Watson, and his brother Jerald Clark Chandler.

He married Halina Kubiak in Chicago, Illinois on September 29, 1984.

Jimmie served his country through his involvement with the United States Army and spent his working days as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife: Halina Kubiak Watson; his children: Michelle (Justin Golemo) Watson of Chicago, Illinois, Nicolas Watson of Melbourne, Florida, Daniel (Jessica) Watson of Terre Haute, Indiana; his siblings: Valerie (Ivan) Jean Cortez of Florida, Cathy Lee Watson of Crossville, Indiana, Cindy Marie (Adam) Cybulko of Wadsworth, Illinois; his grandchildren: Brandon, Jasmine, Briana, Jordan, Matthew, Daniel Jr., Danny, Jimmie, Benjamin, Clarissa; and his great-grandchildren: Zayla, Greysen, and Leilani.
