Jesse Franklin Gill, of Paris, Illinois passed away Saturday, January 20th in Marshall, Illinois.

No services are planned. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Jesse was born on December 27, 1935 in Paris, Illinois to Roy F. Gill and Esther C. Jones.

He is survived by his son: William F. Gill (Amber Brown) of Hanceville, Alabama; his six grandchildren: Tyson and Hailey Gill of Paris, Illinois, Jordan Butler of Charleston, Illinois, Hannah and Austin Armstrong of Marshall, Illinois, Avery Butler of Seelyville, Indiana, and Alyssa and Ayden Davis of Hanceville, Alabama; as well as eight great grand babies; and his brother: William Francis of Scottland, Illinois.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carolyn Rose Gill, his brother, Albert L. Gill; his sisters: Velva Irene Baldwin, Nora Ellen Daughtery, and Martha Jean Emerick.

He retired from the Edgar Township as a road worker. He loved to fish, work on cars and complete crossword puzzles.
