Jerry Lee Cusick Jr., age 69, of Paris, Illinois passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Union Hospital from a long illness. He fought hard until the very end.

Jerry was the son of Jerry Cusick Sr. and Mary (Campbell) Cusick. He married Becky Mitchell of Chrisman, Illinois on August 8, 1975 and she survives.

He is survived by four daughters who meant everything to him: Carri (Dan) Hoffman of Paris, Connie (Aaron) Krueger of Terre Haute, Indiana, Candi Cusick (Ryan McBroom)  of Center Point, Indiana, Suzi Cusick (Gary Miller)  of Paris; his eleven grandchildren: Cayla Hoffman (Tel Powers), Christina (Robert) Hodgson, Courtney Hoffman, Caradan Hoffman, Selena Delacruz, Dylan Miller, and Becca Miller all of Paris, Nora Krueger of Terre Haute, Indiana, Zane, Rylee, and Nolan McBroom of Center Point, Indiana; his three great grandchildren: Theo Powers, Claire Powers, and Vayda Hodgson of Paris, and his two brothers Tim Cusick of Indiana, and Hank Cusick of Paris; his sister: Billie Cusick of Paris; his step mother: Marilee Cusick of Paris; and his brother – in – law: Tom (Gina) Mitchell of Chrisman.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: James, Elmer, and Michael Cusick.

Jerry worked at Simonton Windows for 15 years in the loading area as a supervisor. He was an umpire for girls' softball for a few years. He loved watching his girls and granddaughters play all their sports and in the band. His wife loved dancing with him. He loved life and he will be missed. He had a strong will and didn't want to leave us.

Jerry's wishes were to be cremated with no services. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
