Jeremy S. Tomlinson, age 43 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 4:07 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. He was owner/operator of Jeremy Tomlinson Trucking Company and had attended Oliver United Methodist Church.
Born April 2, 1976 in Paris, Illinois, he was the son of Larry Allen and Patricia (Mitchell) Tomlinson. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Tomlinson of Paris, three children; Sierra Gann of Paris, Nick Tomlinson of Arcola, Illinois, and Elizabeth Tomlinson of Villa Grove, Illinois, two grandchildren, Cameron Gann and Sophia Cline, both of Paris, one brother Jimmy Joe (Christina) Tomlinson of Paris, grandmother Mary Tomlinson of Paris, three aunts; Marsha (Bill) Duke of Paris, Theresa Wheat of Anaheim, California, and Connie (Ronnie) Nemeth of Evans, Washington, two uncles, Larry Shields of Paris and Travis Mitchell of Terre Haute, Indiana, and great aunt Carrie Lance of Paris. He was preceded in death by his father Larry Allen Tomlinson, grandfather Oliver Hilton, grandfather John A. Tomlinson, grandmother Emily Hilton, brother Johnny A. Tomlinson, and daughter Chelsie Gann.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Memorial visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Oliver United Methodist Church.
