Jennifer Marie Pendley, age 77, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Casey Health Care Center in Casey, Illinois.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home, with the burial following in Edgar Cemetery.

Jennifer was born on March 26, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Walter and Virginia Wooley Gumm.

She married Robert L. Pendley on October 5, 1963 in Paris, Illinois. He survives her.

Jennifer worked at Zenith, K-Mart and then employed at Grace Lutheran Church in Paris for 25 years, where she was a long time and active member. Jennifer stayed busy with her many clubs and activities, which included, the Grace Lutheran Church Friendship Guild, craft groups, Embroiderers Guild of America, Master Gardeners, helping raise food for the food pantry, and was involved in many beautification projects.

She is survived by her children: April (James) Fuller of Fairfield, Illinois, Angela (Seth) McKinney of Newport, Oregon, Tamara Pendley of Chicago; her sisters: Jackie Gumm of Danville, Illinois, Judy (Harlan) Chapman of Warrenville, Illinois; her brothers: George Gumm of Georgetown, Illinois, and Bill (Connie) Gumm of Sidell, Illinois.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents and a brother in infancy: David Lynn Gumm.
