Jennie J. Griffin, age 86 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was an apartment manager for Quality Housing in Paris for over 30 years and CMS Management in Marshall for 15 years and also worked for Community Home Care in Paris for 15 years.  She was a member of Bell Ridge Christian Church.

Born February 15, 1933 in Edgar County, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Lewis "Bill" and Marjorie (Quinn) Hollingsworth. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Clyde Griffin, children; Cathy Ann Edwards, Arthur Lee (Deanie) Griffin, William (Michelle) Griffin, Kimberly (James A.) Shannon, and Guy Griff Griffin, all of Paris, a brother Frank Hollingsworth of Paris, a sister Norma Griffin of Paris, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer Griffin, a granddaughter Nicole Pennington, a great grandson Jerred Schomaker,  and three brothers; Robert, William, and Donald Hollingsworth.

Visitation for Jennie will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2019 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in her name may be made to ECCF, Inc.
