Jeffrey Allen Switzer, age 63, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 6:25 P.M. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at his residence.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery.

Jeff was born on January 18, 1960 in Paris, Illinois to Charles Henry and Bessie Josephine (Cline) Switzer. He married Mary Lynn Gann on May 19, 1984 and she survives.

He was the Road Commissioner for Symmes Township. Jeff was a longtime and active member at the 1 ^st Church of the Nazarene in Paris. He was a volunteer fireman and fire chief for twenty-eight years at Oliver Fire Station. Above all else, Jeff dearly loved his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, his children: Eric (Sarah) Switzer of Paris, Illinois, Brittany Switzer (Cody Lewis) of Evansville, Indiana; his siblings: Brian (Bobbie Jo) Switzer of Paris, Illinois, Randy (Becky) Switzer of Brocton, Illinois, Kim (Mitch) Hackett of Paris, Illinois, Tammy Sexton of Paris, Illinois; and his grandchildren: Bentley Switzer, Wesley Switzer, Reese Decker, and Lydia Snyder.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to Oliver Fire Station or Shriners Hospital.
