James Allen Gosnell, Sr. 69 of Paris, IL passed away at 1:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his residence. He was a truck driver and dog catcher.

Graveside services are 2 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 in Edgar Cemetery, burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery.

Visitation is private.

Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

James was born June 3, 1949 in Paris the son of the late Andrew Jefferson and Elsie Irene Dunn Gosnell.

He married Sue Ellen Wolfe Gosnell and she preceded him death.

James is survived by his children: Candy S. Jewell of Paris, James Gosnell, Jr. of Cass, IN and April Dawn Gosnell of Shelburne, IL; his brother: Chuck Crunk of Chrisman and 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 1 sister and 4 brothers.
