James Douglas Fleming age 70 of Paris, IL passed away at 4:18 a.m., Saturday May 4, 2019 at his home. He was a lineman superintendent at Ener Star Electric, a farmer, and owner operator of Fleming Trucking. Jim was a member of Bell Ridge Church.

Services are 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday May 8, 2019 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery.

He was born December 15, 1948 in Paris the son of the late Harold W. and Pauline Harris Fleming. Jim married Pam Downs Fleming in Paris April 10, 1970 and she survives.  He is also survived by his children: Dawn Henness (engaged to John Jones) of Paris, Laura (Bill) Woodard of Paris and Cindy (Rick) Roberts of Damon, TX; his grandchildren: Dalton Henness of Paris, Katie (Cody) Haverfield of Austin, TX, Kyle Roberts and James Roberts both of Damon, TX, Will Woodard of Smyrna, TN, Elizabeth Woodard of Charlotte, NC, Chelsea Stalnaker of Memphis, TN; his brother: Harold W. Fleming, Jr. of Millwood, GA and 1 great-grandchild.

Jim was preceded in death by his sister Charlotte Collier.
