Jackie Lynn Kraemer, age 66, of St. Joseph, Illinois formerly of Paris, Illinois passed away at 2:02 A.M. on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 12, 2021 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery.
She was born May 30, 1955 in Paris, Illinois, the daughter of the late Clark "Jack" Henry Sturgeon and Gertrude "Trudi" Therese Waschitz. She married Jerry Dale Kraemer, Jr. on June 8, 1996 at Mill Creek. He survives.
During her years, Jackie was a nurse and dental hygienist. She was involved in a family support group for 1544 th , enjoyed going to kids and grandkids activities; reading, loved meeting new people and opening her house up to those in need.
She is survived by her children: John Michael Ramsey of Paris, Illinois, Janna (Chris Cheesman) Ramsey of Paris, Illinois, Jared (Beth Koppler) Ramsey of Paris, Illinois, Joseph (Mary) Kraemer of Paris, Illinois, Jason Ramsey of Paris, Illinois, Jordan (Colin) Ramsey of Danville, Illinois, Kirsten Kraemer of Terre Haute, Indiana, Jessica Ramsey of Marshall, Illinois, Joshua Kraemer of St. Joseph, Illinois, Jeffrey Kraemer of St. Joseph, Illinois; her grandchildren: Zoie, Josalyn, Kate, Emilia, Madelyn, Evan, Jackson; her great grandchild, Zeke; her brother Michael Sturgeon, and two sisters of the heart, Linda Roberts and Tracy Nahorski
Jackie is preceded in death by her brother Lawrence Sturgeon, her granddaughter Zanie, and her aunt Thelma Sturgeon.
Jackie talked, laughed, loved and lived in exclamation points. She never met a stranger for long, and always had a smile, encouraging words, and hugs for everyone. She wanted to live forever, for her family, extended family, and all of her chosen family who she gave all of her heart and unsolicited advice to everyday. She is cherished beyond measure, and truly a lost treasure. She gave unconditional love, and she will continue to receive and inspire that every day.
