Jack W. Bellinger's Obituary
Jack W. Bellinger, age 93 of Marshall, Illinois and formerly of Paris, Kansas, and Casey, Illinois, passed away at 12:59 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Paris Healthcare Center in Paris. Mr. Bellinger was an insurance and real estate agent. He was a United States Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
Born October 13, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late George Edward and Gladys (Shaffer) Bellinger. He first married Patricia Ann Tolliver and she preceded him in death. He then married Patricia Metcalf and she survives. Other survivors include three children; Kathryn (Tim) Bellinger Troll of Commerce, Georgia, Sharon (Albert) Bellinger Liles of Taylor, Texas, and John Marc (Cheryl) Bellinger of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, six step-children; Pam (Tim) ClenDening of Nashville, Tennessee, Tim (Sherry) Hibschman of Columbus, Indiana, Jeff (Ellen) Hibschman of Avon, Indiana, Mitch (Sandy) Hibschman of Casey, Illinois, Karla (Tom) Geisse of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Shannon (Doug) Bradley of Urbana, Illinois, three grandchildren, nineteen step-grandchildren, and seventeen step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, a son David Bellinger, a grandson Eric Bellinger, a brother George Bellinger, and a sister Mary Lou Lyman.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris. Memorial visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the charity or church of the donor's choice.
