Harold William Barr, age 82 of Paris, IL passed away at 9:08 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at his residence. He was the owner and operator of One-Stop Mower Shop and a small engine mechanic. Harold was a member of Lake Ridge Christian Church and a member of the Illinois National Guard 1544th Transportation Unit for 3 years.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 in Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jeff Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Harold was born January 13, 1936 in Paris the son of the late Charles Robert Barr and Ila Hale Barr. He married Linda Maynard Barr January 16, 1958 in Paris and she passed away June 3, 2017.

He is survived by his granddaughters: Paige Maples of St. Bernice, IN and Mandy Mullenix of Paris and his brother Sherman Levi Barr of Oklahoma; his great-grandchildren Rowdey Mullenix, Kaylee Hammond and McCoy Thomas.

Harold was also preceded in death by his daughter Donna Kay Barr Pearson; his siblings Amos Franklin Barr, Alma Jean Murphy, Donna Jane Litton and Donald Wayne Barr.
