Hannah Jean Leverenz, age 93 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Paris Health Care Center in Paris. She was formerly a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lakeview Hospital in Danville, Illinois.  Mrs. Leverenz was a member of First United Methodist Church in Paris and also was a member of PEO.

Born March 24, 1926 in Vermilion County, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late James Max and Agnes Simpson (Young) Shumaker. She married Robert F. Leverenz, who passed away March 27, 1970. Survivors include two sons, Larry J. Leverenz of West Lafayette, Indiana and Jeffrey L. Leverenz of Paris. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Jerry W. Leverenz, her daughter-in-law Linda Leverenz, and her sister Betty Kazan.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev.
