Gregory C. Macquithy, age 62, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 4:20 p.m. in Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, Illinois.

Arrangements are pending. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

He was born July 10, 1959 in Clinton, Indiana, the son of the late Norman Clifton Macquithy and Virginia L. Stogsdill.

During his years, Gregory was a laborer and mechanist at Aerogen-TEK. He was also a longtime member of Kansas Methodist Church in Kansas, Illinois.

He is survived by his children: Jeremy Toms of Fruita, Colorado, Paula Ponce of California; his siblings: Norma Macquithy of Paris, Illinois, Karen Williams of Austin, Texas, Tom Archibald of Terre Haute, Indiana, Michael Archibald of Paris, Illinois, Jeffrey Archibald of Paris, Illinois; and 8 grandchildren.

Gregory is preceded in death by his father: Norman Macquithy; his mother: Virginia Stogsdill; his son: Joshua Paul Scott; his sister: Terri Macquithy; and his step-father: Robert N. Archibald
