Gregory Lee Idleman, age 62 of Terre Haute, Indiana, formerly of Paris, Illinois passed away at 8:26 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. Greg was a Professional Civil Engineer and had worked at the Illinois Department of Transportation for many years.  Following retirement from IDOT, he worked for Feutz Contractors.  He was a faithful Christian and a member of the Paris Presbyterian Church where he was a member of the choir and a frequent soloist.  Greg was a member of the PHS Class of 1972 and a member of the Labrador Retriever Breeders Association.

Greg was born on February 18, 1954 in Paris, Illinois to the late Charles Lewis and Anne (Burgett) Idleman.

He married Cynthia Sprouls Idleman on March 13, 1992. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by many friends and family, including his brother Wayne Idleman of Vinita, Oklahoma, his cousin Lynda Idleman of Georgia, and his aunt Bobbie of Georgia.

Memorial Services will be 4 p.m., Sunday April 10, 2016 at the Presbyterian Church in Paris.

Private burial will be held at a later date in the Edgar Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Mary Ann Sprouls and Cynthia Idleman Scholarship Fund in care of the Presbyterian Church.
