Gayle I. Turner, age 98 of Decatur, Illinois and formerly of Paris, Illinois, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, Illinois. She was a clerk at Doris Pharmacy, worked at B and K Drive In and was a custodian at Citizens Bank. She was a member of Community Bible Church in Paris and the Order of the Amaranth. Born June 8, 1916 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Gay and Zoe (Shaver) Osborn. She married Howard Turner in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, he passed away in 1973. Survivors include two children, Gaye Turner and his wife Dodie of Decatur, Illinois and Jackie Brown and her husband Ray of Georgetown, Illinois, four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Zoe Ann Randall and two sisters Norma Slypher and Phylis Hendrickson. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Edgar Cemetery.
