Gary B. Tresner's Obituary
Gary B. Tresner, age 76 of rural Paris, Illinois, passed away at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana. He retired as shipping and receiving manager from MECO after 43 years of service. Gary loved sports and was a huge Illini fan. He also loved his farm and the outdoors. Born February 4, 1940 in Paris, Illinois, he was the son of the late William and Martha Fern (Dimbo) Tresner. He is survived by his son Mike (Hope) Tresner of Paris, Illinois, daughter Ronda Deal of Indiana, sister Wanda Wier of Martinsville, Indiana, best friend and fiancé Linda Goodwin of Paris, Illinois, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson. Following cremation, private services will be held at a later date.
