Gary James Lamb, age 69, of Paris, Illinois passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at his residence in Paris, Illinois.

In keeping with State of Illinois mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone attending the service must wear a mask while inside the funeral home. Everyone is welcome but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects may do so.

A visitation will be on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois. A graveside service will follow at New Providence Cemetery.

Gary was very involved in his surrounding community. He was a former mail carrier and spent 30 years as a sales representative for Pioneer Hybrids, as well as a certified crop advisor.

He also showed his patriotism from his service in the National Guard. Gary was a member of the New Providence Presbyterian Church.

Gary was involved in several other pursuits such as being the director of the Farm Bureau for Elbridge Township from 1995-2008, as well as being the township supervisor for 4 years.

He was born July 10 ^th , 1951 in Terre Haute, Indiana; the son of the late James Lamb and the late Alberta Sturgell Lamb. Gary married Kathryn Ring on August 12, 1973 at the Paris Presbyterian Church.

Gary is survived by his wife: Kathryn Ring Lamb of Paris, Illinois; his sister: Lynette (Joseph) Mollica of Covington, Indiana; his 3 nieces, 4 nephews, and 1 great niece.
