Flora Jean "Polly" Mitchaner, age 78 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 5:18 a.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 in her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Nevins Christian Church. Born July 12, 1936 in Woodbury, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Myrtle (Phillipps) Cooper. Survivors include her children; Bill Mooneyham of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Barbara Neal of Paris, Illinois, Patricia Powell of Paris, Illinois, Linda Henry of Paris, Illinois, Kimberly Erwin of Paris, Illinois and Frank "Buck" Mooneyham of Paris, Illinois, one brother Jack Cooper of Paris, Illinois and her dog companion Princess Fern. She was preceded in death by a son Bobbie Mooneyham and four brothers Albert, Louis, F.C. and J.D. Cooper.

Cremation is planned, a celebration of life at Flora's home will be announced at a later date.

Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
