Firma Elaine Edwards, age 85, of Paris, passed away at 8:35 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Twin Lakes Rehab in Paris.

Firma was born in Paris, Illinois on February 25, 1939, the daughter of Joseph Boone and Katherine Louise Tague Wallace.

She is a past member of the First Christian Church in Paris. Firma enjoyed crafting, dancing, especially line dancing, and singing to her favorite Elvis songs. She was known to go over the top with her holiday decorations and found any reason she could to use her two favorite colors purple and lavender.

Firma is survived by her children: Lance of Paris, Karla of Texas; her grandchildren: Kara of Montana, Chase (Kasey) of Texas, Seth of Paris; her great-grandson: Eli; her brother: Richard Wallace of Crawfordsville, In; and her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Katherine; and her brother: James E. Wallace.

The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the staff of Twin Lakes Rehab and Transitions Hospice for the loving care they provided Firma.

Private services will be held at a later date. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.
