Everett G. Catterson, age 60, of Paris, passed away at 2:28 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Horizon Health Paris Community Health in Paris, Illinois.

In keeping with State of Illinois mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone attending the service must wear a mask while inside the funeral home. Everyone is welcome but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects may do so.

Funeral services are at 2:00 p.m. Friday April 16, 2021 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with a visitation from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Edgar Cemetery.

Everett was born on August 8, 1960 in Clinton, Indiana, the son of the late Leon and Delores "Oakie" Haltom Catterson.

He married Cathy Hornbrook in Paris, Illinois.

Everett worked as a laborer for Morgan Manufacturing in Paris, Illinois. When he wasn't working, Everett enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and playing cards with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife: Cathy Catterson of Paris; his son Everett Catterson Jr. of Paris; his siblings:  Brenda Schwab of Neoga, Illinois, Connie (Terry) Lewis of Georgetown, Illinois, Ronald J. Catterson of Paris, Illinois; his brother in-law: Larry Schwab of Terre Haute, Indiana; his sisters-in-law: Rhonda Catterson of Florida, Mary Catterson of Paris; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

Everett is preceded in death by his parents: Leon and Delores Catterson; and a brother: Leon Catterson Jr.
