Evelyn Ann Ring age 93 of Paris, IL passed away at 10:48 a.m. Sunday August 9, 2020 in Paris Community Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Father Joseph Ring and Rev. Father Valery Berusu as concelebrants will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday August 13, 2020 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paris.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 12, 2020 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paris.

Wake prayer services will be at 4:00 p.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paris.

In keeping with Federal Mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone is asked to be patient and abide by the state regulation of 50 visitors with masks allowed inside the church. Everyone is welcome, but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects will be able to do so. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the charity of St. Mary's Church for debt retirement or Choices Pregnancy and Health.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Altar Society, the former C.D. of A., Right to Life of Edgar County, F.I.S.H., Faith In Action, Choices, BB Club, an avid Bridge player, Paris Community Hospital Horizon Health volunteer and helped with Meals On Wheels.

Evelyn was born March 24, 1927 in Edgar County, Illinois the daughter of the late Theodore and Bertha Rapp Stolz.

She married James C. Ring October 9, 1954 in Paris and he passed away November 8, 1992.

Evelyn is survived by her children: Rev. Fr. Joseph Ring of Jacksonville, Illinois, Kevin (Penny) Ring of Paris, Illinois, Mary Ann (Greg) Sullivan of Paris, Illinois, Rita (Phil) Brink of Aurora, Illinois and Teresa (Dave) Cramer of Lafayette, Indiana; her grandchildren: Matt Sullivan, Anne Lesher, Bridget Seifert, Maureen Sullivan, Christopher Brink, Nicole Sherick, Michael Brink, Eric Brink, James Brink, Beth Hosick, Cory Ring, Ryan Cramer, Ben Cramer, Adrienne Cramer, Elizabeth Cramer, Mark Cramer and her twenty great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers Paul and Richard Stolz and her sister Mary Kelly.

Evelyn was a homemaker, worked at 1 ^st Federal Savings and Loan for 11 years and Ashley Spillman Insurance Agency.
