Evellyn L. Switzer, age 87 of Paris, Illinois passed away at 9:53 AM on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

No services are scheduled, interment will be private at a later date. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Evellyn was born on June 29, 1937, in Clark County, Illinois to Virgil and Hilda (Miller) Rhoads. She married S. Thomas Switzer in Paris, Illinois on August 22, 1957.

Evellyn was a dedicated homemaker and a member of Crosspoint Apostolic Sanctuary in Paris, Illinois.

She is survived by her children: Debra Gosnell (Tim) of Greenup, Illinois, Ferron Switzer (Karen) of Paris, Illinois, Gary Switzer (Bonnie) of Peoria, Arizona, Leslie Padrick (Todd) of Lerna, Illinois; her siblings, Eleanor Stepp of Marshall, Illinois and Glen Rhoads of Covington, Georgia; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Evellyn was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
