Eva "Lucille" Hand, age 94, of Paris, passed away at 5:49 a.m. on Sunday August 15, 2021 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Edgar Cemetery in Paris, Illinois. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Eva was born March 5, 1927 in Illiopolis, Illinois the daughter of the late Sam Rogers and Ruth Lucille Rager.

She married William Henery Hand Jr. on October 17, 1948 in Norris City, Illinois. He precedes her in death.

Eva was a home maker and a member of the VFW 3601 Auxiliary and American Legion Post 211 Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children: Louella (William) Retallick of Paris, Illinois, Robert Hand of Paris, Illinois, Raymond Hand of Paris, Illinois, Kefer (Charlotte) Hand of Paris, Illinois; her grandchildren: Korey Hand, Kacey (Ryan) McGuire, William Retallick Jr., Crystal (Michael) Mostert; her great-grandchildren: Jace Hand, Averly Hand, June Hand, Ellie Hollingsworth, Laila McGuire, Boden McGuire, Jousha Mostert, and Johanthan Mostert.

Eva is preceded in death by her brother Elmer Rager.
