Eva Mae Elledge's Obituary

Eva Mae Elledge, age 83 of Paris, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at her residence. She had worked as a clerk at Curl's Grocery Store, was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paris, was a member of St. Mary's Altar Society, and was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. Born September 11, 1932 near Paris, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edmund and Genevieve Flora (Duga) Curl. She married Donald Ray Elledge April 23, 1953 and he passed away September 30, 1973. Survivors include two children, Timothy Joseph Elledge and his wife Janice of Dale, Texas and Lisa Ann Elledge of Paris, a brother Donald J. Curl and his wife Dorothy of Paris, and three grandchildren; Nichole Elledge and her fiancée Scott Hoffman of Bloomingdale, Illinois, Lindsey Baril and her husband Dan of Rogers, Arkansas, and Tony Elledge of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Gregory Lee Elledge, a grandson Jimmy Lee, and four siblings; Dorothy Genevieve Greenwald, William Charles Curl, Loretta Maria Garwood, and Bernard Francis Curl. Visitation for Eva will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
