Eugene M. "Geno" Morelli's Obituary
Eugene M. "Geno" Morelli, age 85 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 8:51 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 in Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman, Illinois. Geno was a telephone lineman for GTE in Paris and Hemet, California. Born August 5, 1929 in Warren, Ohio, he was the son of the late Eugene B. and Anna E. (Gestiritus) Morelli. He married Larma Henderson and she passed away in 1997. Survivors include a daughter Larma "Susie" (Charles) Eveland of Paris, Illinois, a sister Martha Kostyshak of Sacramento, California, grandchildren; Damita (Jim) Lewis of Paris, Illinois, Tim (Donna) Dugger of Paris, Illinois, Scott Dugger of West Terre Haute, Indiana, Abby Adams of Paris, Illinois, Angie (Chad) Haavisto-Laughead of Paris, Illinois, Bobby (Nikki) Haavisto of Brownsburg, Indiana, Kevin Pawlak of Champaign, Illinois and Danielle Pawlak of St. Joseph, Illinois, eleven great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a nephew Alan Kostyshak of Sacramento, California. He was preceded in death by three children; Matt Penard Haavisto, Bobby G. Haavisto and Michele Squibb.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial of the cremains will be in Edgar Cemetery.
Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
